Clay Tile Re-Roofing in Lacock

Slade Roofing recently completed this clay plain tile re-roofing project in Bowden Hill, Lacock. The work involved stripping back the existing roof coverings before preparing the roof for a complete new tiled finish. A fresh breathable membrane was installed across the roof, followed by new battens to provide the correct base for the new covering. Clay plain tiles were then fitted across the roof, creating a traditional finish that works particularly well with the character of the property and its Lacock setting.

Care was taken throughout the re-roof to maintain clean, consistent tile lines and neatly finished ridge detailing. New guttering was also installed as part of the project, completing the roofline and giving the property a smart, uniform appearance. This project is a good example of the re-roofing work we carry out in Lacock and across the surrounding Wiltshire area. Our roofing work covers everything from replacing existing roof coverings through to new battens, breathable membranes, tiling, ridge work and associated guttering.
